Brett's Puppetry Pulling Strings on Regurgitator's Video Release
A BRISBANE rock band who carved a swathe through the 1990s Australian music charts and a husband and wife pair of puppeteers might seem like an unlikely duo but try telling that to Regurgitator.
On the eve of their 25th anniversary tour, Regurgitator have teamed up with Brett Hansen, master string puller at Brisbane’s booming Larrikin Puppets to produce a cutting-edge video for ABC Kids TV.
Through their new children’s act Regurgitator’s Pogogo Show, the puppet video for “Best Friends Forever” was released on the hugely popular Kinderling Kids Radio Facebook page on September 5 and Brett said it was a massive career highlight.
“Working with Regurgitator was definitely a massive buzz and we are very proud of the video – it was a lot of fun,” Brett said.

Two years later Larrikin Puppets won the 2015 BizCover NEIS Change Award at the Small Business Development Conference in Melbourne and the stable of stars has grown from four puppets in the early days to 50 characters played by Brett and his wife Elissa Jenkins.
