Creative Caring - Dancing for Those with Chronic Movement Restriction
INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed dancer Diane Busuttil is two-stepping her way to success in the business world – one client at a time.
After studying dance at the University of Western Sydney from 1992 to 1994, Diane worked internationally as an independent artist, collaborating with a diverse range of artistic groups in the capacity of dancer, acrobat, teacher, choreographer, producer and director.
Now, after registering with the New Business Assistance with NEIS program under the mentoring of Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs Parramatta Business Solutions Coach Maria Porcaro, Diane has launched Creative Caring.
“Creative Caring brings dance classes within reach of all people with chronic movement restrictions, with a focus on community building for people with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis,” Diane said.

“My passion is to use my skills to encourage the aged to keep on dancing in their twilight years.
“Dance elicits greater changes in executive function, learning and memory than a functionally simple motor activity such as walking among older adults.”
Maria said, Diane’s drive and enthusiasm for her business was evident from their first interaction in September 2018.
“Diane is so passionate about bringing joy, movement and a better quality of life to the aged community,” Maria said.
“I had no doubt she would be successful in achieving this and it was a pleasure to be part of her journey.”
